“Artie Lange: Jack and Coke,” which premiers Jan. 23 on Comedy Central, was taped live at New York City’s famed Gotham Comedy Club last year.

Included in the one-hour special are Lange’s musings about his competition with Heath Ledger and the opening monologue he’d do if he were ever asked to host the Oscars.

Also coming up on Comedy Central is a new stand-up special featuring comedian and actor Aziz Ansari.

“Aziz Ansari: Intimate Moments for a Sensual Evening,” filmed in front of a live audience at Los Angeles’ Brentwood Theater, will make its debut Jan. 17 on the network.

During the one-hour show, the comedian – whose 2009 successes also include a part in the Adam Sandler film “Funny People” and a breakout role in the critically acclaimed Amy Poehler NBC sitcom “Parks and Recreation” – will offer up his thoughts on sheets with fraudulent thread counts, the chubbiness of his cousin Harris and more.

An extended and uncensored DVD of the special, featuring bonus material like a Comedy Death Ray performance at UCB Theater in L.A., hits shelves Jan. 19 along with download-to-own versions from iTunes, Amazon, XBox LIVE Marketplace, Zune and the Playstation store.
