Bieber To Work For (Canned) Food

Like Long Beach Middle School in Lido Beach, N.Y., which beat out 149 other New York metro-area schools by snagging more than 27,000 pounds of food. As a reward Bieber will perform for students at the school sometime in February, according to school officials.

Officials also said the school would be in lock-down mode during the performance. Talk about a captivated audience.

On the other hand, school officials are just being cautious, remembering last November when a promo appearance at a Long Island shopping mall got a little out of hand.

Bieber was signing copies of his debut album, My World, when a crowd of 3,000 young girls and adults started shoving and pushing, resulting in five people going to local hospitals for minor injuries.
