First up is Cordozar Calvin Broadus, aka Snoop Dogg, who will sit down with Fuse host Touré for an hour long chat about “temptation, his heartbreak in jail, living as a pimp and coming clean with his kids.”

“Snoop Dogg: On the Record with Fuse” premiers tonight at 8 p.m. EST on the cable network, with re-airings scheduled for Jan. 7 at 10 p.m. and Jan. 10 at 10 p.m.

The most revealing parts of the show come when Snoop opens up about his relationship with his children (“I’ve never hid anything from my kids. I’ve always been able to express myself to them on who their daddy is so they won’t have to go read a book to find out who their father was. They know I’m and ex-gangbanger, drug dealer, wanna-be pimp. They know about how I cheated on their mother and wanted to get a divorce because they heard about it directly.”) and what’s really kept him out of jail (“My momma never visited me in jail, not one visit. That broke my heart, that crushed me to where I didn’t ever want to go back. That was one of the reasons I didn’t ever want to go back.”).

A few channels away, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, or Lady Gaga, will make a guest appearance on the first 2010 episode of Bravo’s latest creative fashion competition, “Launch My Line,” which pairs 10 established designers with 10 contestants who’ve made their mark in other professions.

On the show, which premiers tonight at 10 p.m. EST, Gaga will visit with the contestants, share her views on fashion and then challenge them to create an outfit inspired by her style while making sure “they are pushing the boundaries of fashion without crossing the line of good taste.”

But if you’re really looking for some excitement, your best bet is probably CBS at 9 p.m. EST for the 2010 People’s Choice Awards, hosted by Queen Latifah.

With a roster of celebs scheduled to appear that includes Mariah Carey, Taylor Swift, Ellen DeGeneres, LL Cool J, Rascal Flatts, George Lopez, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and a full slate of movie and television stars, anything is likely to happen. And if recent awards shows are any indication, it will.

Besides traditional categories like Favorite Movie Actor (with nominees Brad Pitt, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp, Robert Pattinson and Ryan Reynolds), Favorite Movie Actress (with nominees Anne Hathaway, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Anniston, Kristen Stewart and Sandra Bullock) and Favorite Breakout Music Artist (a tough call with nominees Adam Lambert, Demi Lovato, Kris Allen, Lady Gaga and Susan Boyle), this year’s awards include Favorite Web Celeb (featuring nominees Andy Samberg, Ashton Kutcher, Miley Cyrus, P. Diddy and Will Ferrell) and Favorite On-Screen Team (with nominees from “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” “The Proposal,” “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” “The Twilight Saga” and “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”).
