The festival will also feature local artists to be named soon.

“‘Jazz In The Gardens’ has grown beyond almost any and everyone’s imagination,” Miami Gardens mayor Shirley Gibson said.

“When we first started, it was with optimism to make this event, not only well known, but also highly respected amongst other music festivals. Five years later, this is a dream realized and still growing. In 2009 we transcended the local, national and international borders, drastically increasing the previous years’ attendance. Our expectations have grown and remain high.”
