Moz Unmanaged

While many artists are falling in line with Front Line Management, it appears the ever-unconventional Morrissey has decided he needs to go his own way.

He sent the following statement to True To You, a Moz fanzine. Although it doesn’t state why Moz is leaving his representation, the last line may provide some clues.

“Following consultation with my lawyers, I wish it to be known that I have terminated with immediate effect my association with Front Line Management (Irving Azoff, Andy Gould and Lil Gary), who no longer have any rights to issue any statements on my behalf. I would also like to stress that I have no association with accountants appointed by Front Line, namely London & Co.”

Morrissey has made it known he is disappointed in the sales of his latest album. In December, he did tell his fans, through True To You, that he was enjoying his tour.
