TD Garden Picks Lombardi

Hugh Lombardi, the former VP of Palace Sports and Entertainment, has been put in charge of Boston sports mecca TD Garden.

Lombardi, who also was the GM of the Sommet Center in Nashville, has been named senior VP and GM of Delaware North Companies, which oversees operations of the 19,580-capacity TD Garden.

The company touted Lombardi’s experience with NHL and NBA venues, overseeing facilities that housed the Nashville Predators and Tampa Bay Lightning.
