Haiti Relief: From T-Shirts To Telethons To Texts

As the world continues to open its wallet to provide much-needed assistance to the earthquake ravaged country of Haiti, blink-182, MTV and George Clooney join the cause.

Acting with blinding speed, the members of blink-182 have released an exclusive Haiti Charity T-shirt, which is available through the online store section of the band’s Web site.

All proceeds from the sale of the $15 shirt, which sports a pretty snazzy graphic featuring a rabbit carrying the Hatian flag, will be donated to the Red Cross.

For the measly sum of $15, you can score this stylin’ shirt and help earthquake vicitms in Haiti.

Also speeding into action are MTV and actor/activist George Clooney, who announced yesterday afternoon that they will team up for a telethon to raise funds for the embattled country.

The bi-coastal event will take place across all of MTV Networks channels on Friday night, Jan. 22.

Performers and celebrities taking part in the benefit show will be announced in the coming days.
