JT Schedules Haiti Benefit
Billed as “An Intimate Evening With James Taylor,” the concerts will benefit Massachusetts-based, nonprofit organization Partners in Health, which provides medical services to the poor and has been working in Haiti for more than 20 years.
As if fans needed an extra incentive to see Sweet Baby James command a stage for a night, Taylor and his wife Kim have promised to match proceeds from all ticket sales.
And that could be a pretty hefty match, what with gold circle tickets including a private post-show reception going for $1,000 each. Other prices include $100 for upper balcony and $200 for orchestra and mezzanine. Sales are limited to four tickets per person.
Tickets for the Jan. 22 show went on sale today and sold out within 90 minutes. Tickets for Jan. 23 go on sale Wednesday at 8 a.m. Eastern Time. For more information, click here for James Taylor’s Web site.
