A Comfortable New Name
So long,
The well-known amphitheatre in Englewood, Colo., had its name changed, without much fanfare, to Comfort Dental Amphitheatre Jan. 20.
The 16,823-capacity shed is owned by the Museum of Outdoor Arts and operated by Live Nation, which did not announce the change.
LN was similarly quiet when Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, Va., recently changed to
Comfort Dental, which opened in Denver in the ’80s, has 21 branches in metropolitan areas across five states, according to its Web site.
Details for the naming rights, which last three years, were not disclosed. The amphitheatre was named Coors Amphitheatre for five years this decade.
