TicketsNow Names Bension CEO

Ticketmaster subsidiary TicketsNow has a new CEO in Ron Bension.

Bension will work with teams from both TicketsNow and Ticketmaster in his newly created role on product innovation and strategic business growth.

Bension is the former CEO of Tickets.com and most recently held the CEO post for Prolink Solutions in Phoenix, Ariz.

His 30 years of business background also include principal roles at GameWorks and MCA/Universal Studios Recreation Group.

“We are very fortunate to have Ron leading TicketsNow,” Ticketmaster CEO Irving Azoff said in a statement. “His wide breadth of operating successes and strong industry relationships will play an instrumental role in driving key growth opportunities and partnerships for TicketsNow, and we’re thrilled to have him on the team.”
