A coding error caused tickets for the World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Fame induction at the Dodge Theatre in Phoenix to go on public sale prematurely Jan. 14, forcing a recall of tickets and onsale do-over.

Instead of releasing just 200 tickets in the presale, an extra zero was added by a member of the box office staff – effectively putting the whole allotment on sale.

“To be fair, we canceled all the orders, correctly coded the tickets and sent out an e-mail letting all ticket buyers know that we were re-launching the presale two hours later,” Live Nation spokesman John Vlautin told Pollstar.
