Killers Tour Canceled

The Killers have canceled their upcoming Asia tour, which would have brought the band to Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong, Manila, Tokyo and Seoul.

However, the band’s Australian gigs will go on as planned.

The Killers’ Web site cited “unforeseen circumstances involving a serious illness of a close family member.”

The message went on to say that the band hopes to reschedule shows in the Asian cities soon.

Before the announcement, guitarist Dave Keuning said the band would go on hiatus following the Asia tour.

The comment has sparked rumors that the band in on the verge of breaking up.
