My Morning Jacket’s Southeast Spring Excursion
Yeah, it’s a short tour of southern towns like Birmingham, Nashville and Atlanta for My Morning Jacket, but The Preservation Hall Jazz Band is supporting on all shows. Dates, cities and venues after the jump.
The tour begins in Birmingham at the Alabama Theatre April 20, plays Nashville at the Municipal Auditorium April 21 and Atlanta’s Chastain Park Amphitheatre April 23.
Other shows include St. Augustine at St. Augustine Amphitheatre April 27; Charleston at Family Circle Magazine Stadium April 28 and Cary, N.C., at Koka Booth Amphitheatre April 30.
MMJ and Preservation Hall also play Columbia, Md., at the Merriweather Post Pavilion May 1 and the not-so-southern town of Columbus, Ohio, May 2 at Lifestyle Communities Pavilion.
