TMZ: Doctor Close To Being Charged In MJ Death

The legal fallout from Michael Jackson’s June 25 death continues unabated.

As January lurched to a close, TMZ reported that Dr. Conrad Murray could be charged with a crime in the case as early as the following week, papa Joe Jackson has filed a motion seeking his son’s medical records from the UCLA Medical Center and a concert promoter named Roy Isaac claims that Tito Jackson owes him $7,500 for singlehandedly ruining a MJ tribute show last year.

In the most serious report, TMZ and others report that the L.A. District Attorney’s office is preparing to charge Murray with involuntary manslaughter for his alleged role in MJ’s death.

The doctor, who reportedly has admitted to administering the anesthetic propofol to Jackson the morning of his death, has denied responsibility for the King of Pop’s death.
