Irving Azoff has wasted little time in adding his influence to Live Nation.

Sources from LN confirmed that Azoff negotiated a multimillion-dollar deal with Luis Miguel manager Alejandro Asensi in July to send the Latin artist on a 2010-’11 tour of more than 100 dates.

With the merger under wraps, that tour will obviously now be produced and promoted by Live Nation Entertainment.
