19 Entertainment Prez Now CEO

Robert Dodds has been named CEO of 19 Entertainment.

Dodds, who was president of the company, will assume day-to-day responsibility of the CKX-owned business now that Simon Fuller has stated he is going to start up a new entertainment company.

Dodds joined the company in 2006 when 19 acquired his firm. CKX Chairman Robert Sillerman touted Dodd’s contributions to the company’s “American Idol” and “So You Think You Can Dance” franchises when announcing the appointment.
