Woman Sues LN For Concert Injuries

A woman who was injured after a fight broke out at a Brad Paisley concert in Tinley Park, Ill., last summer has filed a lawsuit against Live Nation and other parties.

Mollie Ralph’s lawsuit, filed Jan. 27 in Circuit Court of Cook County, claims Live Nation, Aramark and First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre were negligent, according to court papers.

The lawsuit says Ralph has been “damaged and incapacitated” and “has been caused to suffer pain and disability, and disfigurement, all of which injuries and conditions are permanent.”

The lawsuit claims Ralph was knocked to the ground and injured when a drunken brawl broke out during the sold-out Aug. 7 show, which also featured Dierks Bentley and Jimmy Wayne.

It further alleges that Live Nation and venue officials were negligent for not providing enough security to protect patrons, such as Ralph, from getting hurt and all parties for not closely monitoring alcohol sales.

The lawsuit seeks more than $50,000 in compensation and costs.

A Live Nation spokesman was not available for comment at press time.
