Little Opry Refunds On Hold
Ticketholders are still waiting for refunds for canceled shows at the Little Nashville Opry, which burned to the ground five months ago.
The Nashville venue had Loretta Lynn and Sawyer Brown on the books, among other concerts, when it was destroyed by arson Sept. 28.
Esther Hamilton, who with her husband built the hall in 1974, said she has the names and addresses of ticketholders and how much money is owed.
“Most of the people know we will do it because we have always refunded tickets,” she said. “We are just waiting on the insurance money. I hope it comes tomorrow.”
Investigators have not released details of what caused the fire and said they have received few tips.
