Mayer Apologizes

Technophile John Mayer’s “quit the media game” after getting burned over the use of some racially tinged comments and a certain racial epithet during a recent Playboy interview.

The singer found himself doing damage control after the comments leaked online, taking to the Twitterverse to apologize.

Of course, there’s nothing like a good old-fashioned public apology, so Mayer said sorry onstage during a concert at the Sommet Center in Nashville, where he pointed out that his band members, some of whom are black, did not condone his comments.
