New Music Managers Forum
A new Music Managers Forum board has as its chairman former Split Enz and Men At Work manager Nathan Brenner, with Digital Harmony site operator Mark Ellis as vice-chair.
Others on the board are lawyer and copyright expert Colin Seeger (secretary and IMMF & Copyright, Related Rights representative), artist, manager and tour manager Gorgia Holmes (Treasurer), business affairs academic Mark Daly, hip-hop and dance manager Jane Slingo, publisher Ron Brown and self-managed artist Joanne Volta.

During Rihanna’s promo tour in February, she announced an October tour. She celebrated her 22nd birthday in Sydney.
Meantime, Jermaine Jackson, also in the country on promo duties, insisted that Jackson 5 would tour here with sister Janet.
Non Stop Entertainment announced the inaugural urban tour “Jamfest” for five arena stops April 13-18. The first round of artists were Akon, Kelly Rowland and Pitbull, with local hip-hop act Dj Nino Brown and singer Chris Sorbello.
Queensland Christian music festival Easterfest is this year expanding to Sydney and Melbourne during the Easter long weekend. On the bill are Newsboys and US artists Hawk Nelson and Supershick.
