Eagles Find Stadium Partners

One of the largest tour packages of the year – Eagles, Dixie Chicks and Keith Urban – is set for stadiums beginning in June.

The tour represents one of the rare occasions where Eagles aren’t the sole act on the bill. The act was originally shopping a stadium tour alongside Fleetwood Mac but that obviously has turned into a country-fied event instead.

The tour begins in Toronto at Rogers Centre June 8, travels to E. Rutherford, N.J., for a show at the New Meadowlands Stadium June 10. Foxboro, Mass., is the third date with the tour landing at Gillette Stadium June 12.

Then it’s on to Philadelphia and Citizens Bank Ball Park June 14; Washington, D.C., at Nationals Park June 15; Chicago at Soldier Field June 19; Winnipeg at Canada Inns Stadium June 22 and St. Louis at Busch Stadium June 24.

Urban will not appear on the tour opener nor the last two stops.

The tour marks the first Dixie Chicks – Martie Maguire, Emily Robison and Natalie Maines – have toured in four years. None of the acts has ever toured together although the Chicks and the Eagles launched Nokia Theatre L.A. Live with a run of shows..
