The Bieber Touch

Has the screaming stopped? Good. Gabriela Schwartz, senior director of marketing for Bieber’s label Island Def Jam Music Group, gave me the inside scoop on all the details of Justin’s “Golden Ticket 2.0” contest. And it’s a sweet one.

So here’s the deal: The first 1 million physical copies of My World 2.0 contain an insert with a unique code. Enter the code at JustinBieberMusic.com/GoldenTicket2 and you and three people of your choice (that’s right, you don’t have to take your annoying little brother!) could be basking in the sun at The Atlantis Resort in June.

While you’re there, you’ll get the full JBIP treatment, snazzy accommodations, awesome tropical grub, sweet Bieber swag and special activities selected just for you (including things like swimming with dolphins!). Plus you’ll be sitting pretty for a sneak peek at Justin’s summer tour on June 12.

If you don’t score the grand prize, there’s still plenty of killer stuff for the poor, unfortunate “runners up.” Lucky dogs.

Second prize is the opportunity to appear alongside JB in a video for one of his upcoming singles. Just think. You could be discovered and become the next Justin!

Third prize is a VIP package for a show on the “My World” Tour, which kicks off June 23 in Hartford, Conn.

And that brings us to what, in some contests, might be considered the “consolation prize.” But JB doesn’t roll like that. So the sixth prize winner – wait, did I say winner? What I meant to say was all 10, count ‘em, 10 sixth place winners will score a Nintendo Wii console. How awesome is that?
