Unmistakable: Love is set for release April 27. The nine-track EP will feature seven new songs and two live acoustic tunes. The EP can be pre-ordered now at Messina’s Web site. The site also features the first single from the Unmistakable collection, “That’s God,” which was released in January. The next two EPs in the trilogy, Unmistakable: Drive and Unmistakable: Inspiration, will be released sometime later this year.

“I think this is a great way to let the fans hear all the recordings made in the last six years,” says Jo Dee. “They not only get to experience the finished product, but the complete collection of songs recorded along the way.”

The trilogy is the follow-up to Messina’s most recent full-length studio release, 2005’s Delicious Surprise.

Last week the singer wrapped up a five-night, seven-show residency at Feinstein’s At The Regency in New York as another round of her “Music Room” tour. This Friday she plays the Clayton Center For The Arts in Maryville, Tenn.

Messina has North American dates booked through Oct. 24’s gig at Pantages Theatre in Tacoma, Wash.

Additional shows recently added to the tour include Edmonds Center For The Arts in Washington (Oct. 21), TRAC Center in Pasco, Wash. (Oct. 22) and Liberty Theatre in Astoria, Ore. (Oct. 23).
