Nederlander Still Wants MJ Tunes

Nederlander Presentations has reportedly filed a creditor’s claim against Michael Jackson’s estate regarding a Broadway musical that is to include songs from Thriller and Off The Wall.

The legal filing claims the deceased pop star contracted to do the play with Nederlander in 2008 and the company wants MJ executors to honor the agreement, according to TMZ.

Estate attorney Howard Weitzman reportedly told TMZ he disagrees with Nederlander’s request. The musical is also under fire from “Thriller” video director John Landis. Landis filed suit last year claiming MJ couldn’t make the deal without his consent.

That lawsuit is pending.
