Backstreet Boys Keeping Busy

What’s up for the Backstreet Boys this year? How about a summer tour and a December ocean cruise, for starters?

Although many dates for the group’s summer U.S. tour emerged during the past few weeks, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and AJ McLean not only made it official today, but revealed details about their first-ever ocean voyage.

But before the cruise, before the summer tour, and even before the Backstreet Boys appear on “The Bonnie Hunt Show” April 14 to debut their new single “Bigger,” the group will perform an all-acoustic show in an intimate setting at the Napa Valley Opera House in California April 11.

The summer outing begins in Orlando at the Hard Rock Live @ Universal Studios June 1; plays Atlanta’s Chastain Park Amphitheatre June 3; Biloxi’s IP Casino, Resort & Spa June 4 and Valdosta, Ga., at Wild Adventures Theme and Water Park June 5.

Other stops include Boston at the Bank Of America Pavilion June 8; New York at the Hammerstein Ballroom June 10; Atlantic City at Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort June 12; Clarkston, Mich., at the DTE Energy Music Theatre June 19 and Los Angeles at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk June 26 before wrapping the tour up with two shows at San Francisco’s Warfield Theatre June 27-28.

The group also announced the first ever Backstreet Boys Cruise, a four-day extravaganza for the fans that departs Miami Dec. 9 and includes performances, game show activities, photo sessions and opportunities to ask the boys all those questions you’ve been pondering over the years.
