BEP Invades L.A. Live

The Black Eyed Peas kick off the week with two sold-out shows in Los Angeles at the Staples Center tonight and tomorrow night. To celebrate, L.A. Live will be the group’s “official headquarters” for the duration with after-show parties, a fanfest and even a 3D simulcast.

The fabulous downtown entertainment complex known as L.A. Live is going all out for Peas fans. After tonight’s performance there will be an after-show party at Club Nokia featuring special DJ sets by BEP members will.i.am and apl.de.ap Also making the party will be LMFAO, whose RedFoo will deliver a DJ set.

Tuesday ‘s BEP celebration gets underway with a Fan Fest at Nokia Plaza running from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Los Angeles radio station KIIS-FM will broadcast the festivities and everyone with a concert ticket will gain free access to the Grammy Museum.

Then there’s the live 3D simulcast of tomorrow night’s gig. Sure, the simulcast is being shown at 500 theatres across the country, but not only is Regal Cinema’s L.A. Live Stadium 14 the only theatre showing it in glorious 3D, but it’s the only venue where you can win tickets to the evening’s concert. Tickets will be awarded to a few lucky people in the theatre audience about 10 minutes before the Peas take the stage, giving winners ample time to walk across the street to the Staples Center.
