Lynne will launch an acoustic tour in support of her new disc, Tears, Lies And Alibis, with an intimate show April 22 at L.A.’s Roxy Theatre.

Also on the singer’s dance card are shows at Seattle’s Triple Door (April 27), Martyrs’ in Chicago (May 4), World Café Live in Philadelphia (May 9), Variety Playhouse in Atlanta (May 15) and a special stop at the Country Music Hall of Fame on May 23, where she’ll sing at Billy Sherrill’s induction ceremony.

Joining Lynne for her spring trek is U.K. singer/songwriter Findlay Brown.

Fans who pre-order Tears, due April 20, through iTunes will get two bonus tracks – “Laugh Out Loud” and “Love Song.” And picking up the album at Barnes & Noble will score you the exclusive track “Don’t You Know.”

As if dropping her own album wasn’t enough to keep her busy, Lynne joins a list of guest artists that includes Merle Haggard and Neko Case on Wolf’s soulful and critically hailed new album Midnight Souvenirs. The singer lends her talents to “Tragedy,” the lead single from the project.

Wolf wrote the song with longtime collaborator Angelo Petraglia and said one person immediately came to mind to sing it with him.

“We were just tossing lines back and forth,” he explained, “And thinking how perfect this song would be for me and one of our vocal favorites, Shelby Lynne.

“I’ve always been a fan of Shelby’s, but I never met her.”

A short time later, the duo met through a mutual friend and not only recorded the song together, they’ve since become pals.

“It felt like we’d known each other forever. That session began a very close friendship,” Wolf said.

The pair will drop by NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” tonight to perform the track to mark the release of Souvenirs tomorrow.
