Sometimes when tragedy strikes people can amaze you with their generosity.

Last month the Pollstar family lost Jonathan Watson, the husband of our Online Customer Service Manager Rebecca Watson, in a fatal car accident. Many of you have spoken to Rebecca whenever you had questions about your PollstarPro account.

Now that Rebecca is a single mother with a 5-year-old child, the Pollstar staff wanted to provide her with some assistance in moving forward. A benefit concert featuring top local talent (and the debut of the Pollstar band Hairy Manilow) has been set for May 16 at Frank’s Place in Fresno.

To raise additional money, an auction of donated items is being organized and the response we have received from the industry has been nothing less than amazing.

Guitars autographed by Craig Chaquico and Gary Hoey along with autographed posters or memorabilia from Willie Nelson, Michael Buble, Dolly Parton, Chevy Chase, Rise Against and Todd Rundgren have already been donated with much more on the way.
