Campbell Shuffles O2 Team

AEG Europe president and chief exec David Campbell has shuffled his team at London’s O2, bringing in former Wembley Arena sales manager Emma Bownes to take the same role at the world’s most popular venue.

Bownes will report to Paul Newman, previously responsible for the venue’s ticketing and box office, who has been promoted to the expanded role as head of entertainment and ticketing.

Newman will now report to Sally Davies, previously GM for Indigo2 and the O2 bubble, who has been promoted to venue director for the arena. She will now oversee arena operations, sales, technical, ticketing and marketing strategies, and will report directly to Campbell.

The O2 finished the decade as the world’s No. 1 arena for the third consecutive year, selling over 2.3 million tickets. It also won Pollstar’s Best International Arena of the Year for a record breaking third year in a row.
