Two Injured In Nightclub Shooting
Two people are in serious condition in hospital after a shooting at a nightclub in Colindale, London, April 11.
The local Harrow Times reports that one of the victims was a 23-year-old club DJ from west London known as Werewolf. He was hit in his midsection when someone opened fire at the rave celebrating the first anniversary of the Grime Daily club in Capitol Way.
He was rushed to hospital along with a 21-year-old woman who was hit in the back and arm and is understood to have undergone surgery. Police say neither suffered life-threatening injuries.
At about 4:30 a.m., 20 minutes after the shooting, police came across a crash between two cars at the junction on Hay Lane and Edgware Road. They arrested three men from one of the cars in relation to the shooting.
They were questioned by officers from Trident, which investigates gun-related crime, before all three were released on police bail.
Police say they are keeping an “open mind” in regards to the motive to the shooting.
