More Dates, More Fun

Carrie Underwood’s “Play On Tour” plays on, while John Mellencamp slots dates north of the border.

Today is a great day for Carrie Underwood fans as the songstress adds more dates to her already incredibly long concert tour.

New show listings include Portland, Ore., at Rose Garden Arena Sept. 25; San Jose at the HP Pavilion Sept. 27; Stockton Arena Sept. 28; Bakersfield at Rabobank Arena Sept. 29, the San Diego Sports Arena Oct. 1.

Other new stops include Dallas (Oct. 9), Omaha (Oct. 17), Memphis (Oct. 22), Tampa (Oct. 25) and Toronto (Nov. 3).

The last date on the tour is now Dec. 19 in Calgary. Billy Currington and Sons of Sylvia appear on the new dates. As to whether Underwood will add more dates to her tour which started March 5, all we can say is there’s still plenty of time to build a few more cities with the appropriate venues between now and Dec. 19.

Underwood is donating 36 cents of every ticket sold for the fall tour dates to Save The Children’s United States Programs. For more information on everything in the Underwood universe, click here for the official Web site.

John Mellencamp heads to Ontario for three gigs in July. The Indiana rocker will play the Casino Rama Entertainment Center near Orillia July 13-14 and Caesars Windsor “The Coliseum” July 15.

A ClubCherryBomb.net presale begins April 19 at noon EDT for all registered members. A note on Mellencamp’s Web site states the artist will tour extensively during the fall and winter.
