MJ Impersonator Arrested
A Michigan bus driver who does Michael Jackson impersonations was arrested April 16 for allegedly assaulting an 11-year-old boy.
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy told the News Herald that Ricardo West, 22, was arrested April 14 and being held without bond until an April 26 preliminary hearing.
“The evidence in this case will show that this defendant acted in a way that was deliberate, calculated and goal-directed in his criminal dealings with this child,” Worthy said in a statement.
Police said West, who runs SGI Productions out of his home, allegedly confessed to sending sexually explicit text messages and e-mails including nude photos to the boy as well as sexually assaulting him in the bathroom of a venue during a rehearsal for a stage production, according to the paper.
West reportedly works for Trinity Transportation as a bus aide to autistic children.
He faces multiple charges of criminal sexual conduct, using a computer to solicit a crime, child sexually abusive activity and accosting children for immoral purposes, the News Herald said.
