Noa Lyons Dies
Noa Lyons, owner of Noa Lyons Rigging, died at his home in Hawaii April 6. He was 63.
Lyons – full name Auwae Noa Kepoikai Lyons Jr. – worked on production in Hawaii for more than 40 years and was the head rigger and pyrotechnician for “all major stage events,” according to a statement.
Along with his contribution to concerts, Lyons provided his expertise to shows like “Hawaii-5-0,” “Magnum P.I.” and “Lost,” and was a lifetime member of IATSE Local 665.
