Lambert – not to be confused with former “Lizzie McGuire” co-star Adam Lamberg – will kick off his “Glam Nation Tour” June 4 at The FM Kirby Center for the Performing Arts in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

In keeping with his penchant for living large and performing even larger (not to mention gallons of black eyeliner and nail polish), the singer promises lots of sizzle and pop.

“I hope the audience will be able to escape for a few hours and fall into a world full of glam, drama and excitement,” Lambert told MTV News. “And I would love everyone to come away with a new appreciation for the music on my album.” (An album which, by the way, has sold approximately 600,000 copies from pole to pole.)

“I hope to use some special-effects lighting,” the singer continued. “The ‘Glam Nation Tour’ is going to be very theatrical. People won’t be let down in the glam department; it’ll definitely be something to look at as well as listen to.”

As for his support acts, Iraheta and Orianthi, Lambert is looking forward to working more closely with both of them.

“I was lucky enough to work with Orianthi on the ‘Sleepwalker’ track on my album,” he explained to MTV. “She is a killer guitarist and a great vocalist. I’m so excited to be sharing the stage with her.

“I am such a fan of Allison’s music and I am so excited for her to perform it live in front of an audience … She is pure rock and roll.”

Tickets for a few shows on Adam Lambert’s “Glam Nation Tour” are already on sale, with others going on presale tomorrow morning.
