Grand Prairie Goes Verizon

The Nokia Theatre at Grand Prairie has a new name following a whisper of an announcement.

The 6,333-capacity venue now marches to the beat of a different sponsor, becoming Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie April 20. The AEG-owned building transitioned without a lot of hoopla.

Upcoming shows at the Texas theatre include Celtic Woman, Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Foreigner / Styx.
