Shakira To Shake Up North America

The phrase “international superstar” isn’t all hype. Not when you consider Shakira has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and has received more than 214 global award nominations. The fall outing marks the third time the Colombian performer has toured the U.S.

So far, only three dates have been announced – Sept. 21 in NYC at Madison Square Garden, Oct. 8 in Houston at the Toyota Center and Oct. 23 in Los Angeles at the Staples Center.

But you don’t have to wait until September to see Shakira on the concert stage. The artist is playing a handful of Euro festivals, including “Rock In Rio – Lisbon” May 21, “Rock In Rio Madrid” June 5 and England’s Glastonbury June 26. Shakira is also appearing at the “FIFA World Cup Kick-Off Celebration Concert” in Johannesburg, South Africa, June 10.
