Freedom Hill Season Scrapped

Hillside Productions, operator of Freedom Hill Amphitheatre in Sterling Heights, Mich., has officially canceled the shed’s 2010 season because of pending litigation, according to a statement.

The news is not surprising considering Freedom Hill’s season was suspended months ago and the summer season is well under way.

Hillside spokesman Hank Riberas told C&G News the decision to scrap the season stems from the company’s legal dispute with Macomb County officials, not Live Nation’s lawsuit against the company.
