This Is Not A Tour Announcement

It’s been 18 years since John Lydon and Public Image Ltd. have graced U.S. stages – and it looks like they’ve really been missed. From a festival-stealing set at Coachella to a traffic-stopping appearance on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” outdoor stage, the trek is going so well the band has decided to film it for posterity. Unfortunately that means a slight change in plans (and venues).

This is kind of confusing, but bear with me here and I’ll do my best to make it clear.

PiL’s two-night stand at New York City’s Terminal 5 has been split into one night at Terminal 5 (May 18) and one night at the Music Hall of Williamsburg (May19). The switch is being made so that the second night’s show can be filmed in its entirety for a forthcoming documentary on the band.

Ticketholders for the May 19 show can either keep their tickets and use them at the new venue or have them transferred to the May 18 show at Terminal 5.

The deadline to make a decision is the end of the day on May 7. Those who doesn’t respond to a contact email being sent to all ticketholders will have their tickets automatically refunded.

As of today, all PiL tickets purchased for May 19 will automatically be for the Music Hall of Williamsburg show.

Okay, everybody clear? Good. By the way, PiL’s May 7 Toronto show has been moved to the Phoenix Concert Theatre.

Now I just have one more question: Who the hell wouldn’t want to be part of a PiL documentary and immortalized on film?
