Dead Weather Ahead
The Dead Weather, the band featuring Jack White of White Stripes/Raconteurs fame along with Queens Of The Stone Age’s Dean Fertita, Alison Mosshart of The Kills and White’s Raconteurs bandmate Jack Lawrence, launches its summer tour on the East Coast in July. Right now there’s only a small number of dates, so you need to plan ahead on this one.

The band has a new album – Sea Of Cowards – coming out May 11, but you can stream it to your desktop right now via The Dead Weather’s MySpace page.
The tour begins in Washington, D.C., at the 9:30 Club July 13. Other stops include Boston’s House Of Blues July 14; Toronto’s Sound Academy July 15; Denver’s Ogden Theatre July 17 and San Diego’s House Of Blues July 19. The Dead Weather forecast also includes Los Angeles at the Hollywood Palladium July 21; San Francisco at The Warfield July 22; Minneapolis at First Avenue July 28; Chicago at Congress Theatre July 30; Detroit at The Fillmore July 31 and Baltimore’s Ram’s Head Live! Aug. 2. Last stop is Celebrate Brooklyn Aug. 3.
