Nine Dates Of Sonic Debauchery From Danzig

Serving up metal the way you like it – dark, foreboding and hardcore – Danzig hits the road for a special nine-city journey in support of the group’s first studio album in six years.

Joining Glenn Danzig on this sinister little jaunt will be guitarist Tommy Victor, drummer Johnny Kelly and former Samhaim bandmate Steve Zing on bass.

Danzig’s new album – Deth Red Sabaoth – includes tracks titled “Black Candy,” “The Revengeful,” “Hammer Of The Gods” and “On A Wicked Night.” Needless to say, this isn’t a collection of smooth jazz love songs.

Nor is the tour, which begins in Norfolk, Va., at the NorVa June 15, plays Charlotte, N.C., at The Fillmore June 16 and stops in NYC for a gig at the Nokia Theatre Times Square June 18. Other appearances include Philadelphia at the Trocadero June 19; Boston at House Of Blues June 21; Boise at Knitting Factory June 24; Reno at Knitting Factory June 25; and Los Angeles at Club Nokia June 26. Last stop is San Francisco at the Regency Ballroom June 27.

Support on the East Coast dates will be Gorgeous Frankenstein and Seventh Void.
