Let’s start with the Stones: beginning today, NPR Music is streaming cuts from the reissued edition of the band’s classic release Exile on Main Street.

To celebrate the reissue, NPR asked a bunch of artistslike Carrie Brownstein, Spoon’s Britt Daniel and Alejandro Escovedo to choose their faves from the album and talk about them a little.

You can check out their picks and hear what they have to say by clicking here. Hurry though, you only have until May 18.

The preview also includes the premier of four previously unreleased tracks from the Main Street sessions.

Dropping by NPR studios to chat about Main Street are producer Don Was on May 17 and Mick Jagger and Keith Richards on May 17 and 18.

Now on to Kylie…

The singer is preparing to drop her 11th studio album, Aphrodite, on July 6 in the States.

The album was recorded with help from executive producer Stuart Price (Madonna) and a host of guest songwriters including Calvin Harris, Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears, Nerina Pallot, NERVO and Keane’s Tim Rice-Oxley.

The first single from Aphrodite, “All The Lovers,” isn’t due to drop until June 29, but Kylie will drop by BBC Radio 1 tomorrow morning to chat with host Chris Moyles and debut the song.

I’m guessing this premiere is something special for fans of Minogue’s music because the singer had this to say about the song:

“The single was one of the last tracks to be written for the album. As I was recording it I knew that ‘All The Lovers’ had to be the first single; it sums up the euphoria of the album perfectly. It gives me goose-bumps, so I’m really excited to hear what everyone thinks of it.”

Kylie’s appearance is scheduled for 8 a.m. GMT, which means folks in the States will either have to stay up late or get up early to hear it – except for Hawaii, where the premiere will be at 9 p.m. local time.

For the rest of the country that translates to midnight PST, 1 a.m. MST, 2 a.m. CST and 3 a.m. Eastern.
