Bonham, the son of Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, is partnering with Annerin Productions, producers of “The Pink Floyd Experience” and “Rain, A Tribute To The Beatles” to create a musical experience detailing the history of one of the most influential rock bands of all time. Including a state-of-the-art sound system and light show, Bonham and his band will present Led Zeppelin’s musical heritage while giant screens displaying art, film clips, photos and even home movies, play in the background.

Led Zeppelin reunited for a one-night-only performance at London’s O2 Arena in 2007 with Bonham joining Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones in an incredible celebration of the band’s music. Original drummer John Bonham died in September 1980 at the age of 32.

Son Bonham has been thinking about doing this tour for quite some time.

“When I was offered to put this together over a year ago, it wasn’t right,” Bonham said. “This September 25th is the 30th anniversary of my father’s passing – I thought, what better way to celebrate his life than to do 30 shows for the 30 years he’s been gone?”

Bonham said he was impressed with “Rain, A Tribute To The Beatles,” especially how the production used a timeline and news footage to recreate the era of the Fab Four. While announcing the Led Zeppelin Experience, Bonham talked about what the band meant to him.

“I remember when I went to see Led Zeppelin live in 1979 at Knebworth, there were certain songs that stood out to me and will stay with me forever,” Bonham said. “I will also share other big moments in my life, time with my Dad and my relationship with the band. The show is far from being ‘just another tribute band.’ I want to make the show as personal as I can and show how much Led Zeppelin means to me.”
