The camp, which was founded in 1997 and has previously taken place annually in London and in Los Angeles, gives music lovers the chance to escape their normal routine for a few days to live the rock star life.

The weekend warrior packages are perfect for fans that might not have all the time in the world but still want to experience what the camp is all about.

Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp is coming to Chicago Oct. 15-17, Philadelphia Oct. 22-24, San Francisco Nov. 5-7 and Dallas Nov. 12-14.

Campers will spend their weekend hanging out with rock legends while auditioning and forming a band, writing and recording music and wrapping up the camp with a “battle of the bands” concert. The concert takes place on the last night of camp at a legendary venue in each city – Chicago’s House of Blues, Philadelphia’s The Trocadero, San Francisco’s Fillmore and Dallas’ House of Blues.

“These ‘weekend warrior’ passes will open up the unique Fantasy Camp weekend experience to a new audience,” says CAMP founder David Fishof. “By offering this opportunity close to home, the campers will be able to perform the final night concert surrounded by friends and family.”

Dickey Betts, the guitarist/singer/songwriter and co-founder of the Allman Brothers Band, will be on board as the lead counselor and has also promised to perform an exclusive show on the final night of each weekend warrior camp.

Camp counselors include singer/songwriter/guitarist Mark Farner (the former frontman for the Grand Funk Railroad), record producer/musician/songwriter Mark Hudson (who’s worked with artists including Ringo Starr, Aerosmith and Ozzy Osbourne) and musician/songwriter/producer Kip Winger.

Bassist/guitarist Rudy Sarzo (who’s worked with artists including Quiet Riot and Ozzy Osbourne) will also be there as well as drummer and past Rock ‘N’ Fantasy counselor Sandy Gennaro (who’s worked with artists including Cyndi Lauper, Joan Jett and Michael Bolton).

Weekend Warrior packages start at $1,999.

Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp previously took place in Hollywood, Calif., in February and is set for London May 25-30. Roger Daltrey will join campers at a destination camp in the Bahamas Oct. 7-10.
