KAT-TUN Cancels

Japanese boy band KAT-TUN indefinitely postponed their planned July 31 concert in Bangkok due to the continuing political unrest in Thailand and street violence in the city.

Bangkok would have been the first stop on the group’s long-awaited Asian tour.

No other dates on the tour will be affected.

KAT-TUN belongs to the Johnny’s Jimusho talent agency.

Another Johnny’s group, Arashi, canceled a concert in Bangkok in 2006 because of a coup d’etat.
