Two Chugg Entertainment tours are juiced up.

Most of the shows for Tim McGraw’s first visit downunder (in conjunction with Rob Potts) sold out in 15 minutes, with more dates added.

Four of five initial shows for Florence + The Machine also disappeared in minutes. New York’s The Drums were added to the dates.

Stones Eyeing Oz Tour?

The Rolling Stones put out feelers for a 2012 visit to Australia, according to Melbourne’s Sunday Herald Sun.

It would be a body blow for promoters though: the paper claimed that an offer of A$12 million for six shows was rejected as being “out of the ballpark.”

Windish, Beach Heading Downunder

Tom Windish of The Windish Agency and Johnny Beach from New York’s Bowery Presents are among the U.S. executives trekking to Brisbane’s Big Sound Sept. 8-10.

Big Sound showcases led to global interest in The Temper Trap, The Middle East, Hungry Kids of Hungary and Philadelphia Grand Jury.

Comedian Russell Peters broke the house record for a comedy act at Sydney’s Acer Arena after selling 13,380 tickets to the final Australian show of his “The Green Card Tour” through Adrian Bohm Presents.
