Aguilera Tour Called Off

Christina Aguilera’s world tour has been called off for now, just four days after initial onsales began, with Live Nation citing “prior commitments” related to her upcoming film, “Burlesque,” and promotion of her Bionic album.

Rescheduled dates will be announced later this year, according to promoter Live Nation, and refunds are available at point of purchase.

“The singer felt she needed more time to rehearse the show, and with less than a month between the album release and tour date this wasn’t possible,” according to a Live Nation statement. 

The postponement is the latest in a series of bumps in the road for Live Nation tours, coming on the heels of Limp Bizkit’s tour and a couple of recent Eagles date cancellations.
