Mindy McCready was recovering at press time in a Florida hospital where she was admitted after police responded to a drug overdose call from her mother’s home.

The onetime singer and “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” star was in good condition, according Cape Coral Hospital spokeswoman Karen Krieger.

McCready’s publicist has confirmed her hospitalization but not a diagnosis.
