Nokia’s New Look

Less than three years after its debut, the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live has undergone a $500,000 facelift.

Recent additions to the venue include new stage and house curtaining systems to offer greater venue flexibility and backstage dressing room and VIP area redesigns, the venue announced in a statement.

The house curtaining system will reduce the 7,100-seat theatre to its 4,300-seat orchestra section. The stage curtaining system plays a similar role, scaling back the Nokia’s massive 180-foot by 80-foot stage.

Backstage, the venue’s blue room and dressing rooms now include new carpeting, paint, lighting, furniture and art.
