No Service Fee June

The summer concert season gets rolling as Live Nation delivers its own economic stimulus package to fans by axing service fees at its amphitheatres throughout the month of June.

Big names hitting the road this season include Brad Paisley, Goo Goo Dolls, KISS, Rihanna and Tom Petty & Heartbreakers.

Live Nation’s June deal is pretty much like last year’s “No Service Charge” Wednesdays except it’s for the entire month of June as the promotion company drops service fees on nearly 8 million tickets available through its website for more than 700 shows and 110 artists.

“A fan in every seat is our mission this summer,” Live Nation President / CEO Michael Rapino said. “We know that’s tough in this economy, so it’s our job to find a way to make concerts more affordable.”
