Strait Into Fall
Although the new pack of dates is being referred to simply as “George Strait’s Fall Tour,” a better name might be “If It Ain’t Broke, Don’t Fix It.” That’s because the country star, touring with Reba and Womack, has moved plenty of tickets during the first few months of 2010. This is one lineup audiences fell in love with from the start.
The fall leg begins in Columbus, Ohio, at Nationwide Arena Sept. 9, plays Lexington’s Rupp Arena Sept. 10 and rolls into Nashville for a show at the Bridgestone Arena Sept. 11.
Other shows include Columbia, S.C., at Colonial Life Arena Sept. 16; Birmingham at the BJCC Sept. 17; Bossier City at Century Tell Center Sept. 18; Pittsburgh at Consol Energy Center Oct. 14; Philadelphia at Wachovia Center Oct. 15; Buffalo, N.Y., at HSBC Arena Oct. 16 and Minneapolis at Target Center Oct. 21 before bringing it all to a close in North Dakota at the Fargo Dome Oct. 22.
